Here's my list of additional Resources for Teaching Adults ESL or EFL. You'll find other resources on specific pages throughout my site that pertain to the particular ESL topic of the page.

There are so many ESL/EFL sites on the internet these days; I've tried to narrow them down and include only those that I feel are particularly helpful with English lesson plans, tips for teaching ESL or EFL, teaching theory (especially as it applies to adult English language learners), and other helpful resources for teaching English to speakers of other languages (ESOL).

Coalition of Limited English Speaking Elderly (CLESE) This website provides resources for teaching elderly immigrants and refugees. It was started by a coalition of organizations serving this population.

Compelling Conversations This is a website promoting an excellent and inexpensive conversation book for teachers and tutors of English Language Learners. It has some free conversation lessons that you can download, as well as some great teaching tips to get your students talking. This is a book I own and use regularly for my intermediate and advanced students.

Hospital English Site with free on-line materials for medical professionals studying English and resources for their teachers.

The Internet TESL Journal A monthly ESL journal with articles, research papers, lessons plans, classroom handouts, teaching ideas and more resources. This site has tons of useful stuff.

Lanternfish This ESL resource contains printable teaching resources for language arts, TESOL, TEFL and ESL.

English Ryan Website with free audio and video English lessons on popular ESL and EFL topics.

ESL Games for Adults and Children

ESL Activities (Sorry, this link is broken. I'm waiting for the webmaster to get back to me with the updated link.) 100+ ESL activities, games, printables and other classroom teaching resources.
