Here's my list of additional Resources for Teaching Adults ESL or EFL. There are so many ESL sites on the internet these days. I've tried to narrow it down and include only those that I feel are particularly helpful with ESL lesson plans, tips for teaching ESL, teaching theory (especially as it applies to adult English language learners), and other helpful resources for teaching English to speakers of other languages.

Coalition of Limited English Speaking Elderly
(CLESE) This website provides resources for teaching elderly immigrants and refugees. It was started by a coalition of organizations serving this population.
Compelling Conversations
This is a website promoting an excellent and inexpensive conversation book for teachers and tutors of English Language Learners. It has some free conversation lessons that you can download, as well as some great teaching tips to get your students talking. This is a book I own and use regularly.

Site with free on-line materials for medical professionals studying English and resources for their teachers.

A monthly ESL journal with articles, research papers, lessons plans, classroom handouts, teaching ideas & links.

The most comprehensive ESL Program Listing online. This directory has a list of ESL programs and schools all over the world. It's intended for students, but it can also be used to find schools in the places you would like to teach ESL.
